Conor Mcgregor

100 X 100 CM Oil On Canvas

“There’s no talent here, this is hard work. This is an obsession. Talent does not exist — we are all human beings. You could be anyone if you put in the time. You will reach the top, and that’s that. I am not talented, I am obsessed.” — Conor McGregor

This painting is inspired by the relentless spirit of Conor McGregor — a symbol of ambition, perseverance, and obsession with excellence. His words resonate deeply with me. As a self-taught artist, I began painting eight years ago without any formal art education. When my father passed away, my family couldn’t afford art school, but that never stopped me. Instead, I turned my passion into purpose — learning, practicing, and creating through every challenge.

I’ve always believed that success is built on effort, not inherited talent. Each brushstroke in this artwork represents the discipline and determination it takes to rise — just like McGregor’s own journey from nothing to greatness. Today, my artworks have reached premium and high-end collectors, but the road here has never been easy.

This piece is a reminder to those still working hard — especially during difficult times like the MCO — to never give up on your dreams. Greatness is not reserved for the “talented.” It belongs to the ones who refuse to stop.
