[ The Star News ] Artist with a heart puts coffee waste to good use

A huge shoutout to The Star media for the write up about me AGAIN!

The true meaning of my latest piece featuring the iconic Nanyang coffee cup and saucer plate is to pay tribute to the ever-popular Ipoh White Coffee beverage.

The main ingredient in my art is the actual Ipoh white coffee powder waste used to brew a cup of coffee. After seeing that the coffee powder has to be discarded after a single usage, I think recycling it and turning it into another artwork would be more valuable. As the famous saying goes, “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure,” I’ve created an art piece that I will treasure in my heart forever.
