I could not believe my eyes when I saw this. I’m still astonished by Malaysia Prime Minister Tan Sri Dato’ Haji Muhyiddin Yassin’s Facebook post in support of our mission to SUPPORT FRONTLINERS THRU ART. It is a great honour for my effort to be recognised by the Prime Minister of Malaysia himself.
In his Facebook post, the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Muhyiddin Yassin, said, “I support frontliners thru art” is an initiative to express support to front line officers who fought against covid-19.”
This campaign was driven by Pertubuhan Cintai Malaysia, who teamed up with a famous contemporary artist, Karwai Chan, who produced paintings to express support to the front row of the country.
The campaign is targeted to help the front line officers infected with covid-19 or died other than the purchase of face masks, gloves and Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for officers in the hospital through the sales of the art.
“I Support Frontliners Thru Art” merupakan satu inisiatif bagi menyatakan sokongan kepada petugas barisan hadapan yang berjuang melawan COVID-19.
Kempen ini digerakkan oleh Pertubuhan Cintai Malaysia yang bekerjasama dengan artis kontemporari terkenal, Karwai Chan menghasilkan lukisan bagi menggambarkan sokongan kepada barisan hadapan negara.
Kempen ini menyasarkan untuk membantu petugas barisan hadapan yang dijangkiti COVID-19 atau meninggal dunia selain bagi pembelian pelitup muka, sarung tangan serta pakaian perlindungan diri (PPE) untuk petugas di hospital melalui hasil jualan karya seni tersebut.
